By completing this wiki I think it would be a good tool to use in the classroom because it's better than power points and also because you can share them with your students and they can view it from their home. When you do power points in the classroom, unless you email it to every student, they can't access that from their home. However, with the wiki you can write the website on the board and have the students copy it down and they can access the information from their homes. Also, their parents can view this and see what is happening in the classroom and what they are learning.
You can check out our wiki. I did the page on the Comparison and Contrast of PDS Schools to Non-PDS public schools. It has just basic information about PDS schools and what they are.

I really like that you embedded the video into one of your wiki pages. I also like the colorful fonts you used. This is attention grabbing - we were a bit hesitant to use some of the colors since we didn't know how they would appear on other screens or if this were projected onto a large screen for viewing. The entrance photo of the Benedum logo is very unique as well. You did a really nice job. :)
ReplyDeleteThe page that illustrates examples of a PDS at your South Harrison is extremely well done. You have organized the material very well and in a manner that makes all information easy to locate and easy to understand. I like the charts that indicate the school’s performance and achievements. I think if I were to do this in the future I would include some charts and definitely more color in my wiki.
